tonicdock.com and the sites below it (Almanach, Warzone Companion, Freelancer, Atlas, Industrie, Tonic Overview) are a private, non-commercial fan project about the computer game EVE Online. No goods or services are offered and no income is earned. There is no obligation to provide an imprint under § 5 (1) DDG (German Digital Services Act), as it only applies to digital services offered on a business basis, usually for payment.

Privacy policy
This policy covers tonicdock.com, the Industrie calculator at industrie.tonicdock.com and Tonic Overview at overview.tonicdock.com. The other tools have their own, because they work differently: the Almanach, the Warzone Companion and the Freelancer and Atlas.
1. Controller
The controller is the private operator of this non-commercial website. Contact for privacy requests: webmaster@tonicbeacon.com.
2. Principle
This website sets no cookies, does not track visitors and does not itself collect personal data. The start page contains no script of its own; the Industrie calculator needs one to calculate (section 5), and Tonic Overview one to operate its preview (tabs, rows, brackets). It stores nothing and loads nothing from third parties. The only third-party script is the one Cloudflare uses to count page views (section 4).
3. Hosting (GitHub Pages) and delivery (Cloudflare)
The website is provided through GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open the pages, GitHub processes technically necessary connection data (in particular your IP address) to deliver and secure the service. Details: GitHub General Privacy Statement.
All requests pass through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which delivers the pages encrypted and protects them from abuse. As a processor, Cloudflare handles technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis for both is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and quickly).
4. Counting page views (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
To see how often the pages are opened and how fast they load, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. For this, Cloudflare inserts a small script into the page when delivering it, loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com. It reports to the site's own domain which page was opened, where the visit came from and loading times. According to Cloudflare, no cookies or other browser storage are used, visitors are not recognised by their IP address and not tracked across websites. We only see aggregated numbers, never individual visitors. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring reach without personal data). Details: Cloudflare Web Analytics.
5. Industrie calculator: settings in your browser
The Industrie calculator stores your settings, such as skills, market and structure, only in your browser (localStorage). It loads prices and blueprints as files from industrie.tonicdock.com itself; your browser never contacts CCP. The settings never leave your browser, and you can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
6. External links
The website links to the individual tools and to tonicbeacon.com. Their content and data processing are covered by the policies stated there. Links only open after you click them.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77). As this website stores no personal data itself, please also direct requests about connection data to the providers named in section 3.
